Zolton Mester, Research Officer, Institute for National Measurement Standards.  Zoltan’s research interest is related to application of mass spectrometry and various front-end separation devices such us LC, GC, ion mobility spectrometry for the detection of metal-organic compounds. The developed analytical protocols are supporting the Certified Reference Material (CRM) program of the Institute for National Measurement Standards. Our state of the art mass spectrometry laboratory is equipped with 6 ICPMS instruments and 10 organic MS instruments. Additionally a variety of separation techniques including gas and liquid chromatography, electrophoresis and high field asymmetric waveform ion mobility spectrometry are available for separations from the micro to the preparative scale.
