Dr. Maria Fernanda Giné, professor at the Analytical Chemistry Division and PhD André F. Lavorante. Center of Nuclear Energy in Agriculture University of São Paulo CENA-USP, Brazil. Research interest on applications for Biological and Environmental samples using ICP OES and ICP-MS since 1986 and 1994, respectively. The interest to participate on the Metallomic Center is to research: a) Metal interactions to characterize compound such as Metallothioneins in Synechococcus developed in parallel with gene studies by the Biological group at CENA (Dra. Marli Fiori); b) Application of Se Cr and Ni stable isotopes labeling to plants looking for understanding the uptake, distribution and binding forms. Identification and stability of metal binding proteins in collaboration with the Mineral Plant Nutrition group at CENA (Dr. Cássio H. Abreu and Prof. Euripides Malavolta); c) Identification and quantification of As species in sea products and their degradation rate in soils in presence of pseudomonas. PhD research of.
